The As You Like It Treasure Hunt offers much more than you might at first imagine. It is a challenging, motivational and creative team-building event ideal for both large and small groups. It can also be set in any town, city or area of your choice. The treasure hunt could even start from your offices or be part of your annual away day. Working from a detailed client brief, we produce a treasure hunt that always more than meets our client's expectations.

Research

We like to learn about your team/business and objectives prior to the event. It is also useful to provide us with some funny stories about the team members, i.e. hobbies, nick names, who's always late, holiday stories, the flirt, current business news etc. We use this information within the briefing and prize giving speeches. Don't worry we never offend! We will ask you to divide the teams appropriately taking into consideration personalities and roles.

How the Event Works

This challenging event will cover appropriate, interesting, undiscovered & famous spots of the chosen area. At the treasure hunt briefing our host performs an amusing welcoming speech written around some of your team members. This light-hearted introduction will set the scene for what is a hugely enjoyable event. The emphasis is on FUN FUN FUN - which we believe is the key to improving communications and boosting morale within a team.

Challenges en route include:

'Treasure Trove Teaser', 'Shop Till You Drop', 'Pretty as a Picture' and 'Tourist Trap'. The Hunt will also involve solving cryptic clues and observational questions plus a 'surprise challenge' half way through the event that will have to be presented by each team over lunch or dinner.

To add a little theatricality to the quest, we can sprinkle the hunt with characters that hold vital information. For example the grumpy old newspaper seller, the newly-arrived Ozzie backpacker or the man in the pub looking for his lost dog. But beware! There are also those who have a vested interest in sabotaging you and sending you the wrong way.

The Treasure Hunt is designed to be completed within two to three hours and can finish in a venue of your choice. Whilst you are enjoying your lunch or dinner our team will be collating the points. After the main course, each team will perform their 'Surprise Challenge' that was set earlier. This is a great part of the Treasure Hunt, as it brings the whole group together. The winning team is announced and both winners and losers are awarded a number of amusing prizes.

Teasers - We will supply two short email teasers the week before the event and one the day before which you can forward to your team members. This works well if the event is a surprise!

We also offer The London Treasure Hunt, which takes in may famous and historical landmarks.
